Bio
Timothy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Washington University in 2000
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts/Dramatic Writing. Having
studied lighting, costuming, acting, directing, film history, film
production as well as play writing, Tim is well-versed in many aspects of
film and theatre production.
His theatrical experience includes stage management and co-artistic
direction of WWU's wildly popular New Playwright's Theatre; stagehand work
on numerous WWU mainstage productions; and he's appeared onstage dozens of
times since he began acting at the age of 16.
During his four years in college, Tim co-directed two feature films on video
tape before going on to direct his own project, "Uniforms," a 40-minute 16mm
fake documentary starring the enormously popular rock band Death Cab for
Cutie. "Uniforms" has gone on to win the "Best of Faux" award at Portland's
Faux Film Festival and was selected to appear in Paste Magazine's inaugural
"Rock'n Reel" film festival in Decatur, Georgia. "Uniforms" will be coming
to DVD this winter.
Since joining HD Cinema Group, Tim has been developing content for in-house
productions as well as managing external projects and filling in as crew
member where needed. Most recently, Tim co-produced and DP'd an HD
documentary about the Northwest's own Pete Nelson, a world-renown treehouse
designer and builder. Just prior to that, Tim wrapped shooting his
commercial directorial debut, which he co-produced and directed for Boundary
Bay Brewing. Other recent production credits include co-producer of "Third
Date with Nate Brown" and associate producer of "Bones over Metal."
Currently, Tim is developing one of our own productions, a comedic adventure
series that follows a man on his quest to find the beer of his dreams.
